Paulene Cattle

Artist

PROFILE

Paulene draws inspiration from the urban built environment, especially the overlooked minutiae of city streets. Her intention is to highlight the background noise of society and draw attention to the prosaic detail that surrounds us: elevating the ordinary to the gallery wall.

Her ideas are realised as installations or wall pieces, rendered in a variety of media but predominantly textile based, often incorporating found objects and sound.
